On Thursday night I took a picture of the comet, at 11:30 am the next day
I took the film to the drug store one hour photo developing.
At 2:30 the film was done. Then using a 1200 dpi scanner, I digitized it at 72 dpi.
Using Photoshop, I enlarged a section of the tail until the pixels were about a quarter
inch across.
A group of four of them were a couple of shades different than the rest, an alien
spacecraft for sure! So I clipped out the four pixels and filtered and enhanced,
and filtered and enhanced, and filtered and enhanced, and filtered and enhanced,
and filtered and enhanced, and filtered and enhanced, and filtered and enhanced,
and filtered and enhanced, and filtered and enhanced, and filtered and enhanced,
and filtered and enhanced some more.
Thus producing this clear and unretouched, enhanced photo of an honest to goodness UFO!
If you look real close, you can actually see the rivets!
